Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also one of the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he began to take an interest in theater. While studying in Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he was commissioned into the airforce in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. In 1955, the couple married and in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which ran for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
