Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress who was born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she emigrated from Morocco to California. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and made her debut acting. Pernas had a few appearances in NCIS and Leverage, but she landed the role of Marisa as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. In 2016, after leaving the soap opera she was offered a role as Catalina on Jane the Virgin. She speaks four languages and has since appeared on The Brave with Hannah Rivera as well as The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
