Harry

Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as one of the band members in the group One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England on February 1, 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where three classmates of his made up a group of musicians called White Eskimo. In 2009, they took part in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. Though he's been interested in music, despite his enthusiasm, he was contemplating becoming a lawyer or physical therapist. To provide for his children, he volunteered for a brief period of time working at a local bakery. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. The group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in 2010. The band sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to be the winner. The group was in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell didn't win the event. However Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
