Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American after winning American Idol's debut season. Not only was the winning that ushered Kelly Clarkson to fame as it also secured her a deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. Since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to reaching the top position. She's among the most popular stars to come out of American Idol. She began to experiment with themes and songs as her success grew. With her distinct voice and unique prowess, she received critical acclaim as well as numerous awards. She has been the most notable winner of the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her music career, she also has had a stint in TV and film. She is also the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of various charities.
