Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. Biles was a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the only one who won four gold medals in the same Games during the 2016 Olympics. Biles is also the first to hold three world titles consecutively. Biles together with her sister Adria as well as her brother Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise prior to her first appearance in 2011 at the top category of gymnastics competition. Less than two years later she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles was distinguished by her consistent performance, exuberant personality as well as the difficulty of her routines across all four events: vault, bars with uneven surfaces and the balance beam.
